Description
Dromex® J54 high visibility jacket and pants suit is a lightweight work
garment designed to provide the user with comfort, especially when
working in hot and humid environments.
The Dromex® J54 pants and jacket is approved to the latest SANS 434 and
SANS 1387 specifications and has the SABS permit marking.
The 100% cotton satin weave finish and natural fibre construction makes
this garment breathable and durable
This garment is available in 3 different colours, yellow, royal blue and red,
which consists of the following:
Jacket features:
• Collared jacket with internal hanger loop.
• Concealed YKK brass zip closure.
• 2 Open waist pockets and 1 left breast mitred pocket with concealed
press stud closure and Dromex® sidewinder label.
• Seams with triple needle topstitching for added durability.
• Side slits for better fit over waist.
• High visibility lime green silver reflective tape on arms, breast and rear
of jacket (cross pattern) for enhanced visibility when working in poor
lighting environments.
Pants features:
• A concealed brass YKK zip with metal button closure at waist.
• Two front swing pockets and a rear mitred open pocket with Dromex®
sidewinder label and a ruler pocket on right leg.
• Seams with triple needle topstitching for added durability.
• Inner elasticated waist for optimum fit and flexibility with 7 belt loops.
This garment is suitable for use in general work environments such as
agriculture, mining, logistics, warehousing, maintenance and repairs.

products are known to be harmful to the wearer.

production by means of monitoring and inspection.

• The J54 fabric is SANS 1387 approved (This part of SANS 1387 covers
the definitions, basic requirements, requirements for packing, labelling,
marking as well as inspection and testing of woven cotton and similar
apparel fabrics that are suitable for use in the manufacture of clothing
and covers covers 11 types of fabric with reference to workwear of
J54 - Jean material with a 2/1 twill weave, 220g/m2 minimum.
• Garments comply to the latest SANS 434 standard (This standard
specifies requirements for cut, make and trim of two-piece work wear
suits in a SANS 434 facility).
